Space Art Collectible, Apollo11 First Day Cover

To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, this piece contains a reprint of the official NASA photo of astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, Buzz Aldrin and a very collectable First Day Of Issue Cover of envelope.

The die that was used to print the First Day Of Issue Stamp. was carried to the moon. The montage also contains two color patches, Apollo 11 and NASA. The immortal words of Neil Armstrong as he descended the lunar lander are printed below the photograph.

This piece is double matted with acid free mat boards. Front and back. Ultraviolet light proof plexiglass is used to prevent fading and prevent damage should the piece ever fall. Black anodized metal framing is used for strength and to prevent chipping.
